Country comparisons

The EDI provides a basis for countries to compare themselves with their regional and local peers, as well as compare themselves to countries with similar natural resource endowments as well as with countries performing best in diversifying their economies. Given the importance of peer comparisons, this tool allows for visualization of a country’s performance on each measure of diversification (production, government revenue, trade), across regional and income groups and within their natural resource grouping.
